China Unicom with Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) have commercially launched a Gigabit LTE network, allowing subscribers to enjoy the services and benefits available with high-speed mobile broadband data.

Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERIC) has been selected by VIVA Dominicana to deploy Ericsson Revenue Management products, as part of a five-year, full end-to-end network modernization project with the operator. The solution includes Ericsson Charging System 16, Ericsson Multi Mediation, and all systems integration services and consultant services.

Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) and C&W Communications (C&W), have successfully completed a Gigabit LTE trial in Antigua and Barbuda and started testing a pre-5G network, under C&W’s residential brand Flow. C&W is part of the Liberty Global group, one of the world’s largest broadband and internet service providers.

Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) will build a NarrowBand IoT (NB-IoT) system for Chunghwa Telecom, Taiwan’s largest integrated telecommunications services company, enabling the island to take its first steps toward joining the Internet of Things. Afghan Wireless, Afghanistan's first mobile communications company announced the launch of the 4G/LTE Network with Kabul City being the first location in the country to have the coverage, reports The Fast Mode on May 8, 2017.

Progresif Cellular announced today that they have submitted an official request to start a trial of their 4G network.
