Progresif Cellular Sdn Bhd trading as Progresif, is a government-linked mobile carrier operating in Brunei. The company began in July 2014 following an acquisition of mobile carrier B-Mobile Communications by investment firm Darussalam Assets. The company was initially branded as Progresif Cellular but later shortened to Progresif.

B-Mobile had been operating a 3G UMTS network over the B1 (2100 MHz) band in Brunei since 2005. Due to financial difficulties the company has not completed significant improvements to its network, however began trialling 4G LTE in April 2017.

News & Developments

Progresif Cellular announced today that they have submitted an official request to start a trial of their 4G network.

The application was filed with the Authority for Info-Communications Technology Industry (AITI) which kicks off a process, that subject to AITI approval, could bring Progresif’s first 4G cell sites online within the next three months.
