BUENOS AIRES (Reuters) - Argentina is preparing to auction 90 MHz of 4G spectrum to mobile telephone and internet companies in a process that has already attracted interest from Telecom Argentina SA, Telefonica SA and Claro, a government source told Reuters.

OTTAWA, Feb. 27, 2018 /CNW/ - Huawei and Bell Canada, the country's largest communications company, today announced Bell's successful Wireless to the Home (WTTH) trials in the 3.5 GHz and 28 GHz spectrum bands utilizing Huawei's 5G-oriented Massive MIMO and 8T8R technology.

Madrid, February 23rd, 2018.- Telefónica and Huawei have agreed on 4.5G evolution with first deployments in Bogotá, Monterrey and Rio de Janeiro. In this evolution to 4.5G, Telefónica is introducing 4x4 MIMO, 3C Carrier Aggregation (CA), 256-QAM and CloudAIR (Huawei’s proprietary technology) into its networks.
