T-Mobile launched the NB-IoT test network for the Internet of Things (IoT), around its headquarters in Prague - Roztyly. In January 2018, this pilot will extend to Mladá Boleslav. This is not T-Mobile's first move in this area: the company has also been a technology partner for the SIGFOX IoT network for over two years, covering the whole of the Czech Republic. 

Telecom operator Velcom massively launched the first in the country narrow-band network NB-IoT (Narrow Band Internet of Things) for "Internet of things". A new technology, which is considered advanced in the world, covers the entire territory of the capital.

Tallinn, Estonia, May 18, 2017 — Connected Baltics OÜ, the exclusive Sigfox operator has started providing Internet of Things (IoT) network services in Estonia. The service is now available in most dense areas covering more than half of the Estonian population. The remaining low-dense areas will be covered later this year.

Telenor Bulgaria's 4G/LTE network coverage was extended to over 6,500 kilometers of the country's main road as of end-April.
