China Unicom with Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) have commercially launched a Gigabit LTE network, allowing subscribers to enjoy the services and benefits available with high-speed mobile broadband data.

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) – The Palestinian Authority (PA) and Israel signed an agreement on Wednesday that would allow Palestinian mobile service providers to offer 3G services to their Palestinian customers.

Cellnex Telecom (54%) –in a consortium with Swiss Life Asset Managers  (28%) and Deutsche Telekom Capital Partners (DTCP) (18%) – has reached an agreement with Sunrise Communications International to acquire 100% of Swiss Towers AG, a subsidiary of the Swiss mobile operator that operates 2,239 telecommunication site Switzerland.
