Hrvatski Telekom, the forerunner of digitalisation and digital transformation in Croatia, has unveiled the new Narrowband IoT (NB-IoT) network technology. The technology is intended for devices that do not require continuous network connection and that send extremely small amounts of data with no need for SMS, MMS, or voice communication.

Optus has announced the successful live network testing of combined Massive MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) and 3CC Carrier Aggregation technologies, 3CC Massive MIMO.

Vodafone today conducted the first live public 5G demonstration in Australia, with Nokia at the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS).

The trial took place in front of media, students and staff of UTS. They witnessed potential applications including controlling a robot, a virtual reality demonstration and speed tests using 5G capabilities.

BH Telecom director Mirsad Zaimović told Al Jazeera that the company is fully prepared to deploy 4G networks, but an obstacle to represent state bodies because of problems with digitization in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
