Rogers has announced it is the first wireless carrier in Canada to enable next generation Category 6 LTE on its network today. Category 6 LTE-A brings download speeds up to 300 Mbit/s on compatible devices when they simultaneously connect to 2100 MHz and 2600 MHz bands, bringing faster speeds. LTE-A was rolled out by Rogers back in October of last year.
