Today, at the 4G-tender, the operator lifecell purchased 2*15 MHz in the 2600 MHz band for the development of its own 4G-network. According to the results of the bid winning, the company will pay 909 250 000 UAH to the state treasury for the first two lots. As a result, lifecell received the largest amount of spectrum per one subscriber, which means better speed, better performance and better user experience for our subscribers.
lifecell chief executive officer Ismet Yazici commented: "Our network is ready to launch 4G. I think it will be launched in early spring, as soon as all the necessary procedures will be completed."
