SEOUL, July 8 (UPI) -- North Korea is making a dent in the country's wireless-service monopoly, by introducing a second cellular provider in its growing mobile phone market.

Rogers has announced it is the first wireless carrier in Canada to enable next generation Category 6 LTE on its network today. Category 6 LTE-A brings download speeds up to 300 Mbit/s on compatible devices when they simultaneously connect to 2100 MHz and 2600 MHz bands, bringing faster speeds. LTE-A was rolled out by Rogers back in October of last year.
