Sercomtel Telecomunicações (Sercomtel) provides telecommunications services in Brazil. The company offers fixed and mobile telephony, the latter of which is through 3G and GSM services.
Sercomtel launched Cellular AMPS services in 1992 and deployed its TDMA digital network in 1996 and the total digitalization of its fixed telecom services, up to its expansion to GSM networks which it provides over 900 and 1800 MHz bands. Sercomtel has launched 3G and 3.5G services over B5 (850 MHz). Currently the company does not provide any 4G LTE services.
