TashiCell officially launched 4G LTE Service in Thimphu, Paro and Phuntsholing on 2nd April 2016. TashiCell deployed 4G under the Band 28, 700 MHz. as it is best suited for Bhutanese Topology. To enjoy 4G services user just need to get a 4G SIM Card and 4G enabled handset that supports TashiCell 4G.

Bhutan Telecom, trading as B-Mobile, has announced that operator will be launching the 4G LTE service in country on 24th October 2013. Initially 4G LTE service will be available only in Thimphu in selected areas.
