Overview

Trinidad and Tobago, officially the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, is a twin island country situated off the northern edge of the South American mainland, lying just 11 kilometres off the coast of northeastern Venezuela and 130 kilometres south of Grenada.

Trinidad & Tobago is a member of the ITU and as such follows radio frequency harmonisation principles according to ITU-R Region-2. The regulatory body governing communications policy is the Ministry of Public Administration and Communications, and the Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (TATT) is charged with regulating the country's radio frequency spectrum activities such as planning, allocations, and licencing.
