South Sudan is bordered by Sudan to the north, Ethiopia to the east, Kenya to the southeast, Uganda to the south, the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the southwest, and the Central African Republic to the west. The regulatory body governing communications policy is the Ministry of Information, Communication Technology and Postal Services, and the National Communications Authority (NCA) is charged with regulating the country's radio frequency spectrum activities such as planning, allocations, and licencing.
