Overview

Saint Lucia (Sainte-Lucie) is a sovereign island country in the eastern Caribbean Sea on the boundary with the Atlantic Ocean. Part of the Lesser Antilles, it is located north/northeast of the island of Saint Vincent, northwest of Barbados and south of Martinique. Saint Lucia is constituent nation of the British Commonwealth.

Saint Lucia is a member of the ITU and as such follows radio frequency harmonisation principles according to ITU-R Region-2. The regulatory body governing communications policy is the Ministry of Tourism, Information and Broadcasting, and the National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC) is charged with regulating the country's radio frequency spectrum activities such as planning, allocations, and licencing.
