Overview

Madagascar (Madagasikara), officially the Republic of Madagascar, is an island country in the Indian Ocean off the coast of East Africa. The nation comprises the island of Madagascar and numerous smaller peripheral islands.

Madagascar is a member of the ITU and as such follows radio frequency harmonisation principles according to ITU-R Region-1.
