Gibraltar

Overview

Gibraltar is a British Overseas Territory located on the southern end of the Iberian Peninsula. The territory has independent telecommunications infrastructure and mobile carriers.

Gibraltar is not a member of the ITU however as a British Overseas Territory has elected to voluntarily follow radio frequency harmonisation principles according to ITU-R Region-1. The regulatory body governing communications policy is the Gibraltar Regulatory Authority, who is also charged with regulating the territory's radio frequency spectrum activities such as planning, allocations, and licencing.
