Company Overview

SCO Mobile is a mobile network run by the Special Communications Organization (SCO), a government division of the MITT, and operated by the Pakistani Army. SCO was formed in 1976 to help provide telecommunications services to the disputed and self-governing regions of Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJ&K) and Gilgit Baltistan (GB).

SCO provides 2G GSM services over 900 and 1800 MHz, and in early 2017 launched 3G UMTS over B1 (2100 MHz). 4G LTE services were also launched early 2017 and are available in some areas over the B3 (1800 MHz) band.
