MTN Cameroon is the largest mobile carrier operating in Cameroon. The company is a fully owned subsidiary of the MTN Group and has been operating in Cameroon since February 2000.
MTN operates 2G GSM over 900 MHz. In December 2015 the company launched 4G LTE services over the B41 (2500 MHz) band, and the same month launched its 3G UMTS network over B1 (2100 MHz).
