Gamcel, officially known as Gambia Telecommunications Cellular Company Limited, is a state-owned telecommunications company in Gambia. It was established in 2001 by the Gambia Telecommunications Company, which was itself founded in 1984 as a statutory corporation to take over the responsibilities of the Department of Posts and Telecommunications. Gamcel operates as a subsidiary of the Gambia Telecommunications Company, providing mobile telecommunication services within Gambia. Ownership of Gamcel is vested in the Government of Gambia, particularly under the purview of the Ministry of Information and Communication Infrastructure.

Gamcel has also announced its intentions to deploy a B40 (2300 MHz) TDD 4G LTE network, which may possibly be Gamtel's Super Xpress Broadband fixed wireless service which is advertised as a "4G" service.
