Camtel is a state-owned mobile carrier operating in Cameroon. The company was awarded the country's fourth mobile operator licence in September 2014 and commenced its GSM network rollout in May 2015 in partnership with Huawei. Cameroon Telecommunications (CAMTEL) is a public company wholly owned by the Cameroonian state.

The company operates GSM services over the 900 MHz band, with 3G UMTS also available over B8 (900 MHz). 4G LTE services are available over the B1 (2100 MHz) and B3 (1800 MHz) bands, extended through Camtel's partnership with Afrimax-Vodafone (Vodafone Cameroon).
