Company Overview
Bite is a mobile network operator providing telecommunications services in Latvia. The company was founded in 2005 and is a subsidiary of Netherlands-based Bite Finance International BV, and is a member of the US private equity investment fund Providence Equity Partners.

Bite IoT
In September 2018 Bite launched its national NB-IoT network which reportedly uses the company's existing B20 (800 MHz) LTE carrier. The network is supplied by Huawei.
Bite 5G
In February 2019 Bite announced plans to build its 5G network in partnership with Huawei. Latvia intends on using the 3.5 GHz band for 5G services.
