Leveraging our comprehensive technical database of mobile network operators our engineering team performs investigative desktop studies to determine availability of cellular networks in the area under question. Advanced radio propagation modelling tools are used to deconstruct and reverse-engineer the network, allowing us to assess mobile coverage, predict download / upload data rates, and recommend equipment to improve connectivity.
Following the desktop study, R-Spectrum field engineers can be dispatched on a fly-in-fly-out (FIFO) contract basis to perform a physical survey of signal levels to confirm modelling assumptions and predictions. Our team can then assist the physical installation of antenna equipment and set up wireless communication systems in partnership with local technicians.
While we can provide conventional radio frequency measurement services such as spectrum monitoring, antenna fault finding, and systems audits, our team specialise in bringing connectivity to challenging environments. We operate in parts of the world deemed uneconomical, dangerous, last-mile, or totally unreachable.
