Company Overview

VeloCom Argentina SA, trading as Velocom, is a wireless internet service provider also operating Argentina's Sigfox IoT network. Founded in 1998, the company is based in Buenos Aires and is a subsidiary of Grupo DATCO. As part of its value-added services offering, VELOCOM provides integrated hosting, colocation and IT infrastructure outsourcing solutions through its own Data Center with the highest standards of reliability and security for mission-critical applications.

In March 2017 the company signed a distributorship to become the exclusive Sigfox operator for Argentina. The network is being rolled out through Sigfox's South American partner WND. In addition to IoT, the company also offers wireless internet access through conventional point to multipoint networks across the country.
