Company Overview
UzMobile is the smallest and youngest of the mobile carriers operating in Uzbekistan. Historically a provider of CDMA-450 mobile telephony, the state-owned company began operating a GSM-based network in 2015 following the receipt of assets during MTS' closure.
UzMobile launched standard 2G GSM services over 900 and 1800 MHz, and 3G UMTS services over B1 (2100 MHz) band in April 2015. The company is expecting to roll out nationwide 4G LTE over the coming year.
