Ukkoverkot is a mobile broadband operator providing high speed data services to mainland Finland, and Åland Islands through its partnership with Ålcom. Founded in 2014 the company concentrates on producing wireless data communications services especially for demanding customers, such as businesses, the authorities and sparsely populated areas and for the the industrial Internet. The company’s networks do not carry speech or text messages.
Ukkoverkot launched the world's first B31 (450 MHz) 4G LTE network in November 2014, adding a B38 (2600 MHz) TDD service in August 2015. Focusing on mainland Finland, 450 MHz LTE is extended to the Åland Islands through partnership with Ålcom Telekommunikation Ab.
