Sure delivers telecommunication services in the South Atlantic to Ascension Island, Falkland Islands and Saint Helena. Sure provides national and international fixed line, mobile roaming and broadband services as well as data centre and enterprise solutions to consumer and corporate customers. Sure is the only mobile network on the islands.

SURE South Atlantic & Diego Garcia (S&D) are wholly owned subsidiaries of Batelco Group, acquired in 2013. The companies are telecommunications providers serving customers in the British Overseas Territories of the islands of Ascension, Falklands, Saint Helena and Diego Garcia. In each of these locations, operating under an exclusive license Sure is a full feature network operator delivering voice, broadband and data services.

The company deployed 2G 900 MHz voice services in 2005 with GPRS/EDGE data services added in 2012. Higher speed data services are provided via WiMAX fixed wireless services in the 2.4 and 3.5 GHz bands.

4G LTE became available for the first time in August 2018, with the introduction of B3 (1800 MHz) services (subject to confirmation)
