Orange Poland 5G

In partnership with Ericsson, Orange began Poland’s first live test of 5G technology in Warsaw during September 2019. Operating on an n78 (3500 MHz) test licence, the test network has been set up between nine sites in the Ochota and Powisle districts of the Polish capital and provides peak data rates up to 900 Mbps. The operator expects to roll out commercial 5G in Poland during 2020-21, following the acquisition of the necessary 5G spectrum.
