Company Overview
Nordic Telecom is a mobile broadband service provider and MVNO operating in Czechia. Previously known as Air Telecom and later U:fon, the company has a history dating back to 2012. In February 2017 Air Telecom was officially renamed to Nordic Telecom following its June 2016 acquisition by Nordic Investors.
The company operates a national CDMA network over 420 MHz built by Air Telecom, and provides GSM services through an MVNO partnership with T-Mobile. Following the acquisition of 80 MHz of the 3700 MHz band in the country's 2017 5G spectrum auction Nordic Telecom launched a 4G LTE network over B43 (3700 MHz) in March 2018. Nordic Telecom has achieved peak data rates in excess of 400 Mbps in non-commercial trials.
