3G Network

Nar initially provided 2G GSM services over 1800 MHz but received its licence to provide 3G UMTS services over the B1 (2100 MHz) band in December 2009. Over the following years the company's 3G network received multiple upgrades, reaching DC-HSPA+ (42 Mbps DL) in March 2015.

In May 2015 the company launched its 4G LTE service over B3 (1800 MHz), however its coverage is markedly smaller than that of its competitors. Nar announced plans for LTE-A in 2016 with suggestions it would carrier aggregate an additional 10 MHz channel in B3 (1800 MHz) should it secure additional spectrum. Instead the company appears to have opted for a 4x4 MIMO upgrade to provide up to 225 Mbps peak DL data rate.
