Company Overview

Korek Telecom is the third largest mobile carrier operating in Iraq. The company began operations in 2000 in Iraqi-Kurdistan, expanding nationally in 2007 providing service in all 18 regions of Iraq. Orange Group secured an indirect stake in the company in 2011 in partnership with Kuwaiti logistics company Agility who together hold 44% of the company.

The company operates 2G GSM services over 900 MHz, and launched 3G UMTS over B1 (2100 MHz) in January 2015.
