Company Overview

IT&E Overseas, Inc. provides wireless communication solutions in Guam, Saipan, Tinian, and Rota. It offers long distance, Internet, wireless voice/data, and business solutions. The company was founded in 1979 and is based in Barrigada, Guam with additional offices in Harmon and Chalan Laulau. Since May 9, 2008, IT&E Overseas, Inc. operates as a subsidiary of PTI Pacifica, Inc., part of Prospector Investments Ltd. A minority stake in the company was acquired by Korean telecoms giant SK Telecom in September 2018.

The company has operated 3G HSPA+ services over B2 (1900 MHz) since July 2014, and 4G LTE services over B12 (700 MHz) since July 2012. In 2015 IT&E's 4G LTE network was extended to the CNMI.

In March 2019 SK Telecom announced that it would work together with IT&E to implement a 5G fixed wireless service over n257 (28 GHz). IT&E has secured 1150 MHz of bandwidth in the 28 GHz frequency band and aims to launch the first ever 5G service in the region.

On September 22, 2020, IT&E signed a deal to wholly acquire iConnect's assets, including its cellular network.
