Company Overview

In 1999, iCONNECT™ took over Motorola's existing mobile radio network on Guam and Saipan, and deployed a next-generation, enhanced, and specialised mobile radio service.

Two years after their 2001 debut on Guam, iCONNECT™ extended its services to Saipan and, by the spring of 2004, Tinian and Rota were added in the network—uniting all four islands for the first time and offering the widest coverage by one service provider.

3G UMTS began August 2009 over the B2 (1900 MHz) band, which was upgraded to HSPA+ in July 2011. On September 3, 2014, iConnect proudly launched the next generation of voice and data communications. iConnect Advanced 4G LTE offers voice service and wireless data speeds of up to 25 Mbps over the B12 (700 MHz) band.

On September 22, 2020, IT&E signed a deal to wholly acquire iConnect's assets, including its cellular network.
