Hot Mobile (הוט מובייל) is a mobile network operator servicing Israel and its territories. The company was founded in 1994 then as Mirs Communications Ltd, part of Motorola's Communications division. Today the company is a subsidiary of Hot Telecommunication Systems Ltd, a publicly listed multi-play telecommunications company.
The company was initially an operator of IDEN wireless services, until May 2012 when Hot Mobile secured a 3G operating licence and deployed a B1 (2100 MHz) with DC-HSPA+ data services. 2G GSM was later deployed in 2015 over the 900 and 1800 MHz bands.
4G LTE licences were awarded by the Israeli MoC in January 2015, with Hot Mobile deploying a B3 (1800 MHz) LTE network soon after.
