The company has operated a 3G UMTS network over B5 (850 MHz) since August 2009, which was upgraded to HSPA+ in July 2011. In October 2013 GTA launched its 4G network on the B4 (1700 MHz) LTE band.

In June 2019 GTA acquired five licences in the 24 GHz band which the company showed an interest in deploying fixed wireless services with. In September 2020 it was confirmed that GTA secured four licences in the 3.5 GHz CBRS 'mid-band' for 5G.
