Company Overview

NewCo2015 Limited, trading as Aliv, is the second mobile network operating in the Bahamas. The company was formed in 2016 as a joint venture between Cable Bahamas Ltd. and the Bahamas government.

The company has provided 3G UMTS services over the B5 (850 MHz) band, and 4G LTE over B4 (1700 MHz) and B13 (700 MHz) bands since November 2016. The company chose not to deploy a 2G GSM network.

Aliv upgraded its 4G network to LTE-A in July 2018, using 2C aggregation to provide real user data rates as high as 100 Mbps.
