The Cook Islands is a self-governing island country in the South Pacific Ocean in free association with New Zealand.
Cook Islands is not an independent member of the ITU. Regulation of telecommunications operators and radio spectrum management falls to the responsibility of the New Zealand Ministry of Finance & Economic Management.
